The EC 350 at a Glance

A modular paraffin embedding center designed for flexible, intuitive operation. The cryo console can be positioned on either side of the dispensing unit to fit your lab’s preferred workflow or used as a standalone unit.

Dispensing Console (EC 350-1)

• 5 L paraffin reservoir for continuous operation
• Two independently heated trays, each holding up to 190 cassettes or 400 molds
• Programmable temperature zones, 40–70 °C
• Energy-saving timer with automatic weekend and holiday scheduling
• Six heated wells for cable-free forceps
• Non-glare LED lighting & 5 °C cooling spot
• Manual or footswitch-controlled paraffin dispensing

Cryo Console (EC 350-2)

• Cools to -12 °C for fast block chilling
• Holds up to 80 cassettes / 60 molds
• Large cooling surface with even temperature distribution
• Positions on either side of the dispensing unit or operates independently
• Environmentally safe R134a refrigerant
• Optional methacrylate cover helps minimize frost
