Remanufactured Sakura Tissue Tek Prisma System with 4740 Coverslipper

The Sakura Tissue-Tek Prisma® Automated Slide Stainer combined with the Film® 4740 Coverslipper creates an integrated staining and coverslipping workstation designed for routine and high-throughput histology laboratories.

The Prisma stainer features fully programmable staining protocols, automated slide transport, and individually timed reagent stations to support precise, repeatable staining performance. Slides are processed in baskets and automatically advanced through programmed steps, including reagent stations and wash stations, according to defined protocols.

The Film® 4740 Coverslipper uses automated film application technology to apply a continuous coverslip film over stained slides. When configured together, slides transfer directly from the Prisma to the 4740, reducing manual handling and supporting a streamlined, standardized workflow from staining through coverslipping.

This integrated system is designed to support consistent slide quality, improved turnaround time, and efficient daily operation in clinical histology environments.
